Email Witnessing - Tamed Approach: Every time you send an email you can leave a thought for the person you are sending the email to ponder.

When you sign your name at the bottom of your email say something that causes them to think of Jesus. You can put it in your signature like; “May Jesus make His desires known to you, God Bless, John Adair”

You can also have a tag line at the end of your email like;  “Give some thought to the One thinking of you today, Jesus Christ”

There are many quotes, scriptures and ideas I’m sure the Holy Spirit will give you, just be willing to do it.

Direct Approach : This takes some boldness, but the way I see it, if the world can be bold for death and destruction, we can cross borders with life.

So here’s what to do. If you have America Online, go to the member directory and type in a name, any name. When a list comes up, pick a name and send an email to them about your conversion to Jesus Christ.

If you don’t have AOL, you can go to any big search engine and usually find a directory of members or email addresses.

Send just a few at a time. Remember, we’re not trying to run advertisements, we’re fishing for souls.

When you send your email, make sure it’s to that one person so they know it was personal and not just blanketed with a bunch of other emails.

Your return email address will be on the email, so expect a response.

Referral Approach: This is probably the easiest of all methods to witness with. When you go to a site that preaches the Gospel of Jesus Christ and has content that would lead a person to Jesus, find out if there is a link or section that allows you to email that page to a friend. These are pretty common.

For example, when you’re surfing the web, look on the web site and find a simple form that says, “Tell A Friend” or something like it.

There you can enter your email address and the email address of the person you want to tell about the page (site).

A letter of recommendation will automatically be sent to your friend, with a confirmation to you. Then all your friend has to do, is click or cut and paste the link they find in the email you sent and the Holy Spirit will do the rest.

Enter your whole email address book into these forms if you want, the site will appreciate the referrals and Jesus will use your efforts to draw people too!

Pen Pals: The easiest way to find a pen pal is going to a site that caters to this arena. To find such a site, just go to your search engine and type in “pen pal.”

Many resources will be presented for you to choose from. When you find one that you like, scroll through the site and find a person wanting someone to talk to.

Remember, that as a pen pal, a conversion is not the only thing you are seeking, but to minister the love of God. Take time to hear the person, find out about them, where they are at in life and what immediate needs they may have. Then offer to pray for them.

Then pray for them, even email them the prayer if you want, it can touch their heart and they will get to know your heart too.

In your search for a pen pal, you may find someone with a Birthday, Anniversary or the like. Take a moment and send them an email blessing, wishing the them best on this day with all the grace, mercy and peace through the good and eternal work of Jesus Christ.

Use your own words and even include a scripture or reference if you want.

Chat Room Witnessing - Chat Rooms can be tough. There are usually a lot of people there and you can be assured that with any discussion of Jesus, hecklers will jump all over the conversation.

Cast your bait out there and see who bites, then stick with them. If other’s try to discourage the conversation, just focus on the one that took the bait.

You can start a conversation usually by asking the Chat Room members if anyone knows what it takes to get to heaven?

Then follow it up with, “Would anyone LIKE to know?”

You can also say something like, “Does anyone know what it takes to get right with God?”

Any prodding question will direct you to those that are open. Then just let the conversation form from there.

Website Witness - Web Sites are a great way to witness to family, friends and people that you are acquainted with.

Many Online Service Providers like AOL or Geo-Cities have a place for you to place your own Web Page.

Use these to put up your testimony for a witness and maybe incorporate some pictures of your family. Maybe something from a recent family gathering for family and friends to visit.

Most Web Sites you visit are also looking for comments on their site and someone on their end is reading those comments.

So why not give your comment of their site, hopefully a good one and include a witness with it?
